No. 119 Balmain

Where once stood a nineteenth century era worker’s cottage now exists a heritage listed, three bedroom, two storey home. Although this project involved certain challenges pertaining to its presence within a Heritage Conservation Area and limited front and rear boundaries, through a collaborative effort with both open minded clients and builder, theirs and our visions for the home were realised. The dwelling makes use of solar power and has numerous skylights, ample storage space, and two and a half bathrooms. The final design of the home is sympathetic to the surrounds and streetscape whilst maintaining a modern touch both inside and out.
